Hey my loves, in today’s blog post I share with you sunscreens that do not leave a white cast and are affordable. I have also shared where you can get them (PS: the prices may vary).
Sun protection is vital in your skin care routine even though most of us grew up with the narrative that people of color do not need sunscreen because of our melanin but we are still susceptible to sun damage. Darker skin tones need protection especially from UVA rays which cause the skin to age and aggravate common skin issues such hyperpigmentation and melasma.

Sunscreen should be applied on all days ending with Y whether it’s rainy, cloudy or sunny and even when you’re indoors because UVA rays can penetrate through glass.
